Coimbatore Institute of Technology (Autonomous)

Established in 1956 by the V. Rangaswamy Naidu Educational Trust, Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) is a premier government-aided autonomous engineering college located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The institute is affiliated with Anna University, recognized by AICTE, and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC and NBA. CIT offers UG, PG, Integrated MSc, and PhD programs with strong emphasis on research and development. The college has numerous MoUs with national and international institutions supporting research and student exchange. With a legacy of more than six decades, CIT remains one of the most respected engineering institutions in India.
