VIT Vellore conducts admissions through a combination of university-level entrance exams, national-level tests, and merit-based selection, depending on the program.
Undergraduate (UG) Programs – BTech, BBA, BCA, etc.
BTech Admission
Admission is based on VITEEE, the university’s national-level engineering entrance exam.
Candidates must meet the following:
Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology
Minimum 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST and others)
Date of birth on or after July 1, 2001
Shortlisted candidates are called for VITEEE Counselling, followed by seat allotment.
BBA Admission
Based on merit in Class 12.
